Unfortunately the clingy material left onlookers with a clear outline of Childs' underwear as she arrived at the Nu Bar in Loughton.
Hoping to follow in the business footsteps of her TOWIE co-stars, who have opened shops and launched tanning product and hair extension ranges, Childs is preparing to release her own clothing range.
And while the beautician would be an obvious choice to showcase her designs, she has opted to host a casting session in her native Essex for models.

And with an upcoming reality show All About Amy on Channel 5, the casting was of course captured on cameras.
She tweeted: 'Filming at @nubar_essex today to find my girls for my clothing range.
'Thank you to everyone who came today @nubar_essex you all was so good xxx.'
Accompanying her for the auditions were her father Billy Snr and brother Billy Jnr.
Childs is hoping her new show will be a success after leaving The Only Way Is Essex after the second series.
She admitted producers found her new celebrity lifestyle meant she was too far removed from the 'normal' life she used to leave before finding fame.
She told New! magazine last week: 'Apparently, they (the producers) said that my life wasn't real anymore, because I was doing Celebrity Big Brother. That's their rules and I have to accept that.
'Obviously, I miss the show, but it was my time [to go], and now I’ve been given the opportunity to have my own show. I’ve realised that, since filming, there are a lot of funny things that happen in my life, I don’t regret it at all.'
Despite moving on from TOWIE, she's still in close contact with many of the show's stars and was disturbed to read of Sam and Billie Faiers' attacks over the weekend.
She tweeted today: 'What can I say, so many jealous girls out there. Sam and Billie, I love you so much xxxxx.'
